I was recently reading through the forums at backyardtheater.com - one of my favorite places to read and discuss the great hobby of outdoor theaters, and I found a thread that had been started by a Carl's Place customer who started out looking for advice on how to put a projector screen on the side of his house and ended up sharing his experience with a finished screen from this site.

Anyway, what really caught my interest was the suggestion that black grommets should be used instead of brass grommets.  I had never thought of that before, but totally agreed with the idea, so we found a source for black grommets and will be using them from now on!  The new grommets are the same brass material as before but now have a black finish applied, so they'll work just as well but also blend into the border.
