Using a finished screen from Carl's Place is one of the easiest ways to get going with an extra large format theater screen or with your backyard theater. These are so easy to use as an outdoor movie screen, you'll have more time to spend watching the movie instead of setting up for it!

We start by taking our do-it-yourself projector screen material and we wrap the edges with a black, vinyl material. While wrapping the edge material around the screen, we also add a high-strength nylon webbing, so that you can give the material a good stretch without worrying about how the screen is holding up. Finally, we place grommets all around the edge of the screen, through the reinforced edge, placed about every 12 inches. This allows you to use as many bungees, nails, or other fasteners as you would like to keep a nice, even tension all over the screen.
