Shipping Information:

One of the reasons I started this store was because I was so tired of online shops that charge excessive shipping. Want a $0.50 screw? Sure! Just $5 shipping. I want to get these products to you in the most efficient way possible, and I don't want you to have to pay any more than it costs.

I generally ship everything here through USPS (though I can accommodate whatever methods you prefer if you ask). Now, automatically calculating the shipping cost through the USPS is tricky -- I have every item weighed and can quote an exact price based on weight -- that is one of the options you'll find when you check out. However, I can also use flat rate boxes to save some significant shipping costs in most cases. It's hard to get the shopping cart software to automatically figure out when a flat rate box can be used, but I have come up with a method that gets pretty close, and you'll find that under the "My Best Guess" option in the shipping choices (those prices are only available in the US, so you won't see it if you're located outside the US). So, if you see a "My Best Guess" option in the shopping cart and it's cheaper than the other Priority Mail quote, choose it! It should be the best deal. If you end up paying a significant amount more than it costs to ship, I'll send you a refund.

Another reason I started this store was because of the many times that I've checked an order status somewhere to find that it was "processing" or "pending" for days and days - sometimes even weeks - before it shipped. Nothing is more frustrating than ordering something and having to wait forever to receive it. I try my best to prepare orders for shipping every evening and ship them out the next day. Keep in mind that I am human and that this is not my full time job, so there are occasionally days where I'm just not available for an evening, and those orders might get delayed for a few hours. I do my best to keep those days to a minimum, however, so you can count on receiving your order as soon as possible.

Although I do my best to keep all items on hand and ready to be shipped, occasionally there will be an influx of orders that causes me to run out. I will always place a note in the product description letting you know if I'm out and when I expect more, but I always allow the item to be ordered anyway, because every item I sell comes from a source that can replenish my stock readily.

Returns and Refunds:

If for some reason you receive a defective product or if you don't receive what you ordered, I will gladly accept a return and refund you for the entire order. If you change your mind about an item or decide that you don't need it, I'll also accept a return and refund you the cost before shipping. Either way, though, contact me first so we can make arrangements.
