Need to update your church screen on a budget? We were thrilled to visit Spencer Lake Christian Center recently and chat with Mark, the Kids Camp Director, about how they upgraded their worship center with Carl’s Place DIY Projector Screens.
Mark explains that one of the most important considerations in a church screen is that it looks good. Video projection is a very important medium that enhances the camp experience. The team at Spencer Lake decided to purchase three finished edge projector screens and construct DIY wooden frames to achieve the look they wanted.

In addition to the three screens that currently hang in the worship center, the team also purchased a 32-foot portable projector screen kit for an annual children’s retreat. Mark explains that they’ve “had other screens that we’ve used in the past that take a full day to setup, but this one takes us less than an hour.” When setting up for a large event, convenience and efficiency of setup is key.
