Black Nylon Enclosure

The enclosure surrounds your simulator with a tough surface to shade the screen for your brightest image. It also creates a hitting bay golf environment that catches any shots that miss or bounce off the screen. Because you don't want to put a bunch of golf ball-sized holes in your wall.

Steel Fittings

The DIY Golf Simulator Enclosure Kit includes the corner fittings you need to connect your pipes. Pipes sold separately.

Ball Bungees and Zip Ties

We include all the fasteners you need to secure your enclosure and screen. You'll get releasable zip ties, as well as 6" and 9" ball bungees to secure your screen to the frame. We even give you extra so you find the perfect balance of tension for your specific swing style. Depending on how close you're hitting to the screen, ball speed, clubs used, and spin rates, you can adjust them all to find your sweet spot between tension and slack.

Optional Accessories

Pipe Framing Kit

Our Pipe Framing Kit is optional, but the pipes to build your frame are not. 1-inch EMT, which can be found at any local hardware store, is required to complete the assembly of your DIY enclosure (we'll tell you exactly what you need).

If you'd rather have us include the pipe for you, this add-on kit includes all the pipes you need, pre-cut to the exact lengths required - no pipe cutting or hauling required!

Foam Insert Kit

Get an extra measure of safety and the peace of mind that errant shots will not contact the frame with memory foam cushions in the perfect profile and lengths to insert behind the screen flaps of the DIY Golf Simulator Enclosure.

Back Cover Kit and Back Cover Pipe Kit

Get rid of any light leakage, both internally and externally, to achieve the utmost superior projected image quality while providing your enclosure with a polished and refined appearance. Just like our enclosure, you can add the pipes for the back cover with the Back Cover Pipe Kit, or we'll just tell you what size pipes you need to source and cut yourself.

Baffles

Knock down those high wedge shots with some ceiling baffles, now available for Carl’s DIY enclosure.

Net Wall Extensions

Net wall extensions protect the walls of your enclosure without closing in your space. If errant balls are a concern, a set of golf hitting net extensions provides an additional barrier to keep your golf balls in the hitting area, not bouncing around your home. Simply attach onto the frame enclosure with hook and loop strips. A sandbag, at the bottom, holds it in place (fill not included).

Carl’s Golf Simulator Turf by Big Moss

Gorgeous turf that doubles as a putting green, cut and hemmed to seamlessly fit within your DIY Golf Enclosure Kit and extend 12' from the screen. Looking for more of a challenge? We’ve got you covered there, too. Use the included undulation pads to simulate any terrain variation your heart desires. You’ll be putting like Steve Stricker in no time. Shop turf.

User Stories

The Unused Sunroom - Cody

Animated before and after of sunroom being converted to home golf simulator
“The biggest hurdle for me personally when I was thinking through the simulator was really in my mind,” Cody said. “I just had this belief that the price, the effort, was kind of over what our budget would allow.” “It really took me researching, going into forums, and then eventually stumbling on Carl’s Place DIY enclosures to then realize that with our budget, you really could have an affordable, high quality setup in your home."

The Budget DIYer - Guy

Customer home golf simulator build, DIY project using Carl's Place DIY Golf Simulator Enclosure Kit
"(Carl’s Place) prices are two-thirds of the cost of the next guy,” Guy said. “That was a massive selling point because I was trying to save money on this." My wife was not happy when I explained to her how much I was going to spend on this. I had to negotiate by saying, ‘Here’s what it costs most people, and this is what it’s going to cost us.’

EMT Requirements

Unless you've selected the Pipe Framing Kit add-on, you'll need to purchase 1-inch EMT (electrical metal tubing) from your local hardware store to complete your frame. We'll include all details on what lengths and quantities of EMT are required.

Please note, 1-inch EMT is the US trade name of the material, however, the true outer diameter is 1.163" or 27mm.
